WHO IS THIS TEST FOR?

URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS TEST is intended for anyone who wants to check the presence of leukocytes, blood, nitrites or proteins in the urine, indicating a possible infection in progress.

The test should be performed in the presence of one or more of the following symptoms: frequent urination, burning when urinating, turbid and/or smelly urine. It is recommended to use the very first urine in the morning.

USE PROCEDURE

  1. Collect the first urine in the morning by using a clean and dry cup;
  2. Take out the test strip from the aluminium pouch;
  3. Deep the test strip into the sample for 1-2 seconds;
  4. Wait 2 minutes before reading the results.

RESULTS INTERPRETATION

Negative the presence of leukocytes, blood, nitrites and proteins in the urine has not been detected.
Leucocytes positive leukocytes have been detected in the urine. It is recommended to contact your doctor.
Blood positive blood has been detected in the urine. It is recommended to contact your doctor.
Nitrites positive nitrites have been detected in the urine. It is recommended to contact your doctor.
Proteins positive proteins have been detected in the urine. It is recommended to contact your doctor.
